The release of this remix just got me soooo much more pumped up to see Dillon Francis in Philly later this month!

“Stars Come Out” is one of my favorite Zedd tracks to date, even though many other’s strangely don’t seem to share that opinion. It’s new age electro house at its finest, and honestly it wasn’t a track that I would have expected decent remixes from; it has a near perfect arrangement. But then again, leave it to Dillon Francis to shake things up properly…

This remix of “Stars Come Out” is straight moombahton madness! Francis is able to maintain the original tracks beautiful flow and ferocity, yet turns it into a bouncing jam. Yea, I’ve seen the negative comments around the internet about this song, but I just cannot agree. I’m not telling anyone what to like, but you need to build up an appreciation for moombahton before you can criticize this track. Honestly, it wasn’t all that long ago that I would have been among the nay-sayers, but then D.Rob started schooling me in the finer points of this groovy sub genre.

Having said that, Francis’s remix of “Stars Come Out” is extremely technical. Taking a song so fast paced and furious, and turning it into a bumping moombahton track is no simple task. So once again, we at The Top Sound say, well done Mr. Francis.
