It’s been awhile since we’ve done any Seven Lions coverage, so I’m happy to say that we’ve got something amazing for you today!

Jeff Montalvo, aka Seven Lions, has become good friends with us here at The Top Sound. We’ve interviewed him in the past, and he continuously blows us away not only with his originals, but with his trance inspired dubstep remixes as well.

Anyway, Tritonal is due to release their Piercing The Quiet: Remixed album on September 3 featuring two disks: a 14 track remix CD by some of the biggest names in trance and EDM alike, as well as a 10 track club mix CD by Tritonal themselves!

So why do I bring this up? Isn’t it obvious? Seven Lions is one of the album’s featured artists with his remix of “Still With Me,” and the track is absolutely stunning! He manages to capture all of the original’s power and emotion, but really amps it up up with a heavy beat. Honestly, I feel like Seven Lions has really created like a sub-genre of dubstep. It’s tried and true trance-step.
