Another one from Dada Life‘s June 2012 podcast!

We don’t know much about Tony Romera‘s forthcoming track yet, except for the fact that it’s going to absolutely shatter some of your brain cells when it releases via XtraLife. This is electro house in it’s most epic and powerful form. These synths and basslines will rupture your internal organs and whatnot (well let’s hope not because that sounds terrible).

“Mad” stands out because it has so many changes. Romera isn’t afraid to let the main bassline ride a bit, but there are segments of this song that really show his attention to detail. Just listen to what happens at 2:47. Silly. This absurdly talented producer was named the “Second Best French New Talent” for 2012 by Only For DJs, so you know this guy has a future in the electro house game.

Quick note: I absolutely love when builds are accompanied by a very hard snare on the 2′s and 4′s. There’s something very awesomely primal about it. Yeah, he has the typical drum roll underneath it, but the build is driven by the straight 2′s and 4′s and it just sounds fantastic.
