Our boy Danny Olson is back with a collaborative remix with vocalist Missy Modell of Rihanna’s “Where Have You Been.”

As always, Olson has hit us with a flawless production. However, his ability to work with Missy Modell on this cover has shown a side of him that we had not yet seen.

Remixing tracks is one thing, but composing a song and working with a vocalist is a completely different animal. After listening to Modell and Olson’s rework, I now believe that Olson has the ability to express himself as a unique artist. It’s difficult to explain, but I just get the sense that this guy has cracked the code. He can build a composition from the ground up, and he can do it masterfully.
