I’ve pretty much loved every single production Deadmau5 has ever put together… until this.

Obviously, it’s Joel just messing around in the studio, and I don’t think it is meant to be a serious release, but i’m incredibly underwhelmed by what I hear. Perhaps it’s my disinterest in Nine Inch Nails, or maybe it’s the fact that I don’t see a whole lot of EDM influence in Deadmau5′s remix, but it’s just blah!

Along with his post of “Survivalism” Joel mentioned that he could do a track similar to this in the future with his own vocals. I’d rather he continue busting out progressive house masterpieces, but you’ve gotta give him credit for trying to do something different.
