Manufactured Superstars & Jeziel Quintela feat. Christian Burns – “Silver Splits The Blue”
Several months back I wrote about one of my favorite house duos in the game, Manufactured Superstars. At the time I mentioned that while their name had yet to become household over here on the East coast, they were very well known over in Vegas, LA, and Denver. Well, with the release of their new track with Jeziel Quintela, “Silver Splits The Blue,” that’s all about to change.
“Silver Splits The Blue” is simply house at its absolute finest. There’s only one other guy I know of that can put together an easy-listening, house track of such caliber, and that’s Kaskade. This song is so silky-smooth that it gives you that same starry feeling that you get when listening to trance. The track’s beat-to-vocalist match is absolutely spot on, and I can’t think of any singer that could have been a more perfect choice.
If you’re not familiar with Christian Burns, he is an English musician and has been featured on several trance and house tracks in the past including: Tiesto’s “In The Dark,” Armin van Buuren’s “This Light Between Us,” Allure’s “On the Wire, and Benny Benassi’s “Love and Motion.”
Manufactured Superstars is simply not a duo that feels the need to conform to the trajectory of popular EDM. Forget the glitch, the wobbles, all of that pop nonsense, and the spine-crunching bass; this is about beauty. This is about putting a crowd under a spell. I’ve fallen victim to Manufactured Superstars spell, have you?
Oh, and I almost forgot. If this track wasn’t enough to put you in a trance, the video features smoldering hot, U.F.C Octagon Girl and Playboy/Maxim model, Arianny Celeste. Yup, that’ll get you…
