Ah, yes. Nothing like some moombahton/dancehall swagger on a Monday, I’ve always said. (?)

This is the perfect track to get you ready for summer. As is typical of pretty much every Diplo/Major Lazer release, “Party Shot” features bouncy percussion and wet, slappy synths, but with the added bonus of Los Angeles DJ ETC!ETC!‘s moombah madness taking the track to new heights.

One disclaimer about this track: it sound worlds better played out of speakers in an open area, such as a living room or car with the windows open. Take my word for it. This is the most literal interpretation of dancehall I have ever experienced.
