It’s been a couple of weeks since a track hit me like this. The last was most likely Joe Garston‘s “Forever” a few weeks ago. Songs this gorgeous just don’t come along often. And leave it to Monstercat to find it and release it.

“Ocean City” by Canadian duo, Eminence, is scintillating. There isn’t a thing I dislike about this track. It’s emotional, spacious, and straight up beautiful. If this song were a girl I’d marry the ever-living shit out of her. Upon hearing this track, similar sentiments were common among all of the writers; this track represents everything we’ve always tried to produce ourselves. Just once, just one damn time, I’d like to produce something this gorgeous. But that takes a whole lot of talent. And, ladies and gentlemen, that exactly what these guys have. Get Eminence on your radar. Immediately.
