Catching Up With Keljet
Here’s a change of pace to help break the constant stream of house/dubstep/trance we forcefully shove down your throats!
Driving home from work today, I decided to throw on my Top 25 Most Played on my iPod, a playlist I don’t typically frequent, and on came Keljet’s absolutely magical remix of “Love Lost” by The Temper Trap. I became quite curious what they’d been up to in the past 2 years since the track’s release, and I soon found that their Soundcloud is pure gold.
What a perfect day to have stumbled upon their masterworks! Mid 70s, sun shining, good vibes all around…it’s a nu disco kind of day.
This is dance music in it’s purest form. It makes me want to move like nothing else.
I think this is my favorite Keljet track, but who knows. It’s a remix of “UFO” by Coldplay that’s quite different than anything you’ve heard on The Top Sound to date. Also, let’s throw a remix of Snow Patrol‘s “The President” in there, shall we?
Here’s a sextastic original called “Laserflies“!
And this is that “Love Lost” remix I mentioned! I obviously can’t get enough of this track, evidence by the fact that it’s in my Top 25 Most Played. You don’t just walk into a spot on a music blogger’s Top 25.
Aaaaand, just released today, here is Keljet’s remix of “A Year” by Channel Cairo. High quality stuff.
