HOLY F*CKING TITS! Adventure Club, you really outdid yourself with this one… I bow down to your greatness.

“Need Your Heart” is simply perfect.

Let’s start out with the vocals: Kai, you’re a goddess, I think I might love you? But really, Kai’s voice is incredibly unique. It possesses a triumphant power, and yet it is enveloped by a gorgeous soulfulness that is absolutely indescribable. She’s got style, she’s got emotion, and most importantly, she’s got flair. I’ll be honest, I’ve never heard of her before this track, but she’s definitely on my watch list now.

Moving along… Once again Adventure Club has left me totally speechless. No one, I repeat no one in dubstep, has the ability to balance beauty and torrential like Adventure Club can. Yes, I always say that Gemini is the king of instilling beauty into dubstep, but it’s a different kind of beauty. Gemini’s music is classic — his tracks are like classical compositions that reach back in time grasping for form of artistry that has long been lost.

Adventure Club’s productions utilize a much more contemporary style. To use a metaphor: their music is your European dream girl — classy, mystical, exotic, slightly traditional, and yet she possesses a sexy edginess that chills you to the bone.

“Need Your Heart” is an example of perfect arrangement. The intro slowly lures you in with its combination of elegant synths and rosy vocals; you hardly realize that you’re world is about to get turned upside down. However, as with all Adventure Club drops, it’s done with style and melody — you never get the feeling that it’s too much. This is the reason I love Adventure Club so much; they can go as hard as anyone else, and even harder, but it’s never overpowering. Perfectly balanced.

Oh, and did I mention that Kai is hot as hell? Now I did!
